How does a BA sewer bypass pump work?

The engine driven sewage pumps from the BA series are fitted as standard with all the necessary features required for bypass jobs. Once the dry prime pump and piping are installed, all that’s left to do is turn the key in the dashboard to "auto."

Then, when the sewage level begins to rise the BA bypass pump automatically starts up. The vacuum assisted system quickly draws up the liquid until the main pump takes over. Once the level in the sewer line falls back down, the diesel engine comes to a stop again. This efficient operation keeps your fuel costs down and ensures that wear is kept to a minimum.
