Our mission is to build the world's best portable pump solutions and we work on this with the greatest dedication. This already begins in the design phase with our large innovation team. For the production process, our factories are equipped with the most modern welding robots and CNC machinery. In doing so we can guarantee a great finished product. BBA Pumps is famous worldwide for its top quality products, pumps with the highest efficiency and its care for the environment.

How we do it?

Our innovation team creates, draws and designs new pump models and concepts. They build prototypes which are tested and then optimized. In this way we always control the quality and efficiency of our pumps. As a result, we are the only pump manufacturer in the world to provide a 4-year warranty on our pump series.

What we do

BBA Pumps develops mobile pumps and piping systems for a variety of applications as wellpoint dewatering, sewage pumping, dewatering, flood control and for general use through rental companies.
Our pump solutions stand for quality and durability. They deliver the optimal performance at the lowest cost. A dedicated team of 250 employees produces and supplies thousands of pumps each year. You can also contact us for professional pump advice and 24/7 service support.

Worldwide

Pumps and Piping Systems around the World
We deliver our pumps and piping systems all over the world. We do this from our sales subsidiaries in the Netherlands, Germany, Poland and the USA. We also have modern production facilities in the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. These have an area of more than 100,000 sqft. Efficiency and good logistics between the facilities ensures rapid production and accurate delivery times.

Production and Sales in the Netherlands
Apeldoorn – Back in 1953, the Bruin family started producing pipes, filters and quick couplings in Apeldoorn. This well-equipped production facility still assembles large numbers of mobile pumps that are shipped worldwide.

Doetinchem - This is where the BBA Pumps headquarters for sales, marketing and administration is located. The building also houses a service workshop and a warehouse for products sold on the Dutch market.

Czech Republic | Hranice - Production facility where semi-finished products are produced and processed;

Poland | Warsaw - Sales office from which our own products and other brands of pumps are distributed;

Germany - in 2022 we established BBA Pumpen GmbH. Creating a sales office for the German pump market.

History

Established in 1953
The history of BBA goes back to 1953, when Mr. Bruin started in Apeldoorn as a producer of piping systems for water transport. The next step was taken in the mid-1970s. At that time, BBA started supplying pumps. Since then, our company has developed internationally into a leading manufacturer of mobile pump systems.

Family business Bruin Buizen Apeldoorn
Since its foundation, several generations of the Bruin family have succeeded each other. They share an entrepreneurial spirit, an interest in technology and the urge to innovate. The original company name is Bruin Buizen Apeldoorn:
 
Bruin = the family name, currently in the third generation
Buizen = a Dutch term for piping systems
Apeldoorn = the place of origin of our company  

We have grown together with our customers  
The growth of our company is owed to a large group of loyal customers. In the first decades, the focus was mainly on the Dutch wellpoint dewatering companies. With their expertise and input, it was possible to develop our products further into the best available anywhere in the world. In the 1990s, our efficient and super-quiet mobile pumps started to receive attention from beyond our domestic borders. Since then, our products have found their way to all parts of the world and we work closely with major international customers.
