Robert Turner is the fleet operations manager of RIPA & Associates, a premier civil and utility contractor in the Tampa Bay area (FL). The family business was started in 1998 and has grown twenty years later into a medium-sized construction company with more than 700 employees.

In 2016, RIPA made its first major purchase of a series of BBA pumps, this was a mix of wellpointing pumps plus 4-inch and 6-inch vacuum assisted pumps. "The cost of the investment was already recovered within 9 months through reduced fuel and rental costs!

In addition, it also became quickly clear that the maintenance costs of the PT pumps were much lower than those of the existing rotary pumps" Robert Turner said.
